Monday’s class. First we had to trace the photo. Everybody’s tracing was different – surprise surprise. Then we had to draw on it, copying from the photo and trying to replicate the photo as accurately as possible – an exercise in photorealism.

I took a few quick snaps of all the class’s drawings, came home and spent hours resizing them and building them into a very, very short video (a la Dryden Goodwin, but rather more rough and ready than his).  I used a nice little free app by Dave Perry, called MonkeyJam, to create the video.
